Health Insurance Dynamics - Data Extraction

HIDyn data are organized into five categories by topic:

• Demographics
• Health insurance coverage
• Employment
• Income
• Weights (includes sample identifiers)

Users can access each type of data by clicking on the desired category in the boxed list at the left of this page. Each of these data sets may be downloaded in its entirety, or users can select variables from the list provided at each link.

Users also have the option of selecting allocation flags to identify imputations in the original SIPP data. This is accomplished by checking "Include Allocation Flags" after selecting variables for extraction.

Data can be downloaded as SAS Version 8 datasets or as tab delimited files. The downloaded dataset will be a zipped file.
