Computer Core Mission

The objective of the Computer Core is to provide the best possible research computing support to PRI researchers. To meet this objective, the Computer Core performs 5 major functions: (1) system and network development and maintenance; (2) identification and evaluation of new equipment and software; (3) user consulting; (4) support to the other PRI Cores; and (5) proposal development. Computer Core services are used by PRI research associates and affiliates, demography graduate students, and PRI staff.
