Peer Review
PRI has a long tradition of having senior faculty provide early-career investigators with feedback on grant proposals and population-related research articles. The vast majority of tenured PRI faculty have volunteered to provide reviews. Faculty requesting journal article reviews can either approach Senior Faculty directly, or speak with the Faculty Assistant who will help identify appropriate reviewers. Reviews of grant proposal drafts (both first submissions and re-submissions) will involve more intense one-on-one contact. The Faculty Assistant will facilitate peer review by identifying senior faculty with expertise in the topic and soliciting their review. You can request a peer-review of your demography-related grant proposal or journal article drafts by contacting Nancy Landale or Rukmalie Jayakody.
