Joseph W. Bencloski, professor, Department of Geography and Regional Planning, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, is co-author (with Jenny L. Butchko) of an article titled "Distance Decay Effects: The Case of a Small Pennsylvania Retail Flower Boutique," The Pennsylvania Geographer, Fall/Winter 2004.
Elizabeth Gifford is Research Scientist, Duke University.
Sandra Hanson is on sabbatical, affiliated with the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. She continues her work on women in science and currently has two NSF grants funding her research on this topic. While on sabbatical she will write a book examining issues involving minority women in science education.
Julie Kraut-Becher is Research Associate, University of Pennsylvania - Center for Studies of Addiction; and Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Swarthmore College.
Laurie Meschke is assistant professor, Child and Adolescent Development Program, Marian Wright Edelman Institute for the Study of Children, Youth, and Families, College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, San Francisco State University.
Prosper Poukouta is Senior Program Advisor, Population and Development, Africa Division, United Nations Population Fund.
Kate Riordan is a Research Analyst with the Schools and Staffing Survey at the American Institutes for Research.
Jay Sarangi is Deputy Commissioner of the National Election Commission in India. His job will involve redrawing the boundaries of electoral constituencies in the national Parliament and State Legislatures.
Qiuyan (Cindy) Wang joined Independence Blue Cross as a Research Analyst in the Research and Evaluation Department.
Chitose Yoshimi is a senior researcher at the National Institute of Population and Social Security Research. She is involved in the National Migration Survey Project, the International Migration and Social Security Project, and a project focusing on intergenerational relationships.
