Dr. Kaari Baluja (2000) is President, Contextory, Inc.
Dr. Cristina Bradatan (2004) is Assistant Professor, Texas Tech University.
Dr. George Demko (1964) was lecturer at Charles University in Prague in 2007. While there, he was invited to address a class of Kazakh demographers and policy specialists who were using his book, The Russian Colonization of Kazakhstan. Based on Demko's 1964 dissertation (advisor Allan Rodgers, professor emeritus of geography), the book was banned during the Soviet era, but was translated into Russian and Kazakh in 1998 for use as a demography text in Kazakh universities.
Dr. Samantha Friedman (1997) is Associate Professor, Department of Sociology, University at Albany, SUNY.
Dr. Timothy Madigan (1992) received an Overseas Young Chinese Forum (OYCF) Ford Teaching Fellowship for the 2007-08 academic year, and will teach a course in social stratification at Central China Normal University in summer 2008.
Dr. Sule Ochai (2007) is Assistant Professor, Grambling State University.
Dr. Lisa Pearce (2000) received tenure at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and will be promoted to Associate Professor of Sociology on July 1, 2008.
Dr. Gary Peters (1973) and Dr. Bob Larkin (1973) have published the ninth edition of Population Geography: Problems, Concepts, and Prospects, the first edition of which appeared in 1979.
Dr. Kristen Robinson (1997) recently started a detail with the Senate Special Committee on Aging.
Dr. Silvana Vargas (2001) is Director, Institute for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods, National Agrarian University La Molina, Lima, Peru.
Dr. Janet Wilmoth (1995) is Professor, Syracuse University.
