The annual meeting of the PAA will be held at Fairmont Hotel at University Place in New Orleans, Louisiana from Thursday, May 9 through Saturday, May 11. There will be approximately 130 sessions and almost 200 poster presentations. Sessions are scheduled for Saturday afternoon. Members already should have received the preliminary program containing housing and registration forms. Copies are available from the PAA Business Office. Since PAA dates coincide with the Jazz Fest, hotels are booking up so make your reservations ASAP!
Social Events. The popular PAA Welcoming Mixer will take place on Wednesday, May 8, 8:30 to 11:00 p.m. Your registration fee includes admittance for two and two complimentary beverage tickets. A cash bar cocktail party on Friday at 6pm follows the Presidential Address.
