• The Urban Institute seeks a Research Associate to participate in quantitative and qualitative studies related to immigration and immigrant policy and the impact of immigrants on American society. • Decision Demographics seeks an Applied Demographer to manage a new business effort, part of a NIA SBIR-funded project dealing with the older population and its characteristics and needs for all U.S. counties. It involves hands-on management of an aging forecasts project, establishing analytic approaches, acquiring and processing a broad range of data, and creating local estimates of characteristics and needs of the older population. The position will require experience with large datasets preferably US Census data (STFs, CPS, PUMS); a strong interest in business demography; and creativity in developing new demographic and product-demand measures. • University of Michigan School of Public Health Position in Family and Reproductive Health. • The National Center for Health Statistics expects to recruit for a person to work on the National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) analyzing the NHIS on Disability. They are looking for someone who can analyze a large data set using SAS and write statistical reports. • The Population Council, an international non- profit research organization, seeks Fellows and a Senior Fellow from Sub-Saharan Africa for its Africa Population Policy Research Center (APPRC) established in Nairobi, Kenya. The APPRC, funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, seeks to improve understanding of the demographic transition in Sub-Saharan Africa.
