Census Sampling Plans Continue

It appears that the Bureau of the Census can proceed for
now with sampling plans for 2000. A compromise amendment to the emergency
spending bill makes it clear that any sampling prohibition is not intended
to stop the "long form" questions. Please stay tuned!
