EndNote Tips
Information on this page was prepared for a workshop on EndNote presented at the Population Research Institute on November 16, 2006 by Tara Murray.
What is EndNote?
EndNote is bibliographic management software which you can use to:
- Search bibliographic databases
- Organize citations
- Create bibliographies
Definitions
- EndNote library - an EndNote file containing citations
- Import filter - the file EndNote uses to search remote databases
- Connection - the file EndNote uses to search remote databases
- Output style - the file EndNote uses to format citations for output (e.g., to a word processor)

Popline Import Filter
Download PRI’s EndNote import filter for use with Popline. To download, right-click here, then save the file to your import filter folder (e.g., C:\Program Files\EndNote\Filters\).
