NIH Manuscript Submission Service
The Information Core will submit manuscripts to PubMed Central on behalf of PRI faculty to assist them in complying with the NIH Public Access Policy.
As soon as possible after your manuscript has been accepted, send the following to Tara Murray:
- your final peer-reviewed manuscript file(s) (your final manuscript including modifications resulting from the peer review process but not copyediting or formatting by the publisher)
- a copy of the publication or copyright agreement you signed with the publisher
- the name and email address of the principal investigator
- the NIH grant or contract number
- the embargo period (number of months, up to 12, after publication that your manuscript should be publicly available, as specified in the agreement with the publisher)
Once we have submitted your manuscript via the NIH Manuscript Submission System, the system will e-mail the PI or corresponding author. The PI or corresponding author must approve the submission and embargo period before it is included in PubMed Central.
