This website has been created to initially host summary information regarding the Neighborhood Food Environment, Diet and Health Study, an R21 exploratory study funded by the National Institutes of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS).

Please note, the study was originally funded through two waves of data collection, the second of which will now most likely occur in 2009.
What to Look for in the Future
The content of this website will evolve to include summaries of reports and citations to published papers and public presentations as and when they appear. The project team is currently analyzing these as well as other supplemental health and demographic data for the Philadelphia area, including the Philadelphia Health Management Corporation's Community Health Database. We anticipate several other reports or links will be added by early 2009.
