Mpofu Named Researcher of the Year

Elias Mpofu, professor of rehabilitation services, has won the National Council on Rehabilitation Education's (NCRE) Researcher of the Year award. He received the award at the council's annual convention in San Diego. Mpofu has published more than 70 articles in peer-refereed journals, six monographs or books, 27 book chapters and three training modules. His primary research interest is customer-centered rehabilitation. The NCRE Researcher of the Year award is given annually to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the rehabilitation literature. NCRE is a professional organization of educators dedicated to quality services for persons with disabilities through education and research.
