The TREMIN Research Program on Women's Health

Data

The TREMIN Research Program on Women's Health was initially designed to collect data on women's menstrual cycles and now includes information on a variety of related topics. Participants report daily menstrual events on a calendar card and complete a biannual health report form.

Over the years, subjects have participated in special surveys. Such data are available for secondary analysis. The database currently contains over 4,000 menstrual histories spanning 500,000 menstrual cycles. Over 1.1 million data records are computerized with additional records being added daily. In addition, the dataset contains a wealth of unexamined anecdotal material. The longitudinal and prospective nature of the data is what makes the TREMIN Research Program on Women's Health unique.
